Axis Bank Q2 net soars 60%

Axis Bank today announced a 60.5% surge in Q2 net profit of Rs 227.82 crore for the quarter ended September 2007, as against Rs 141.98 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Total income for the quarter ended September 2007 stood at Rs 2,059.37 crore, an increase of 67.4% from the same period last year.
