Canara Bank Q3 net up 30%

Canara Bank today reported a 30% increase in net profit at Rs 356.29 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 when compared with Rs 273.98 crore in Q3FY05.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 2,551.22 crore in Q3FY06 from Rs 2,230.73 crore in Q3FY05.
