Corporation Bank gets new CMD

Jag Mohan Garg, Executive Director of Punjab National Bank has joined Mangalore-based public sector lender Corporation Bank as its new Chairman and Managing Director on Thursday.

According to a Central government order, he will be in office till July 31, 2010. Garg succeeds B Sambamurthy, who retired as CMD of the bank on October 31, 2008.
