Corporation Bank raises $100mn syndicated loan

 According to Corporation Bank release, Calyon, DBS Bank and Lloyds TSB Bank acted as lead arrangers for the loan facility.

Corporation Bank has raised loan through the international loan syndication market for the second time within a span of six months, the release said.

The deal was launched in the market at competitive pricing with an issue size of JPY equivalent of $50 million (with a greenshoe option of further JPY equivalent of $50 million), the release added further.

"The strong investor interest in the facility is a positive indicator of the growing interest amongst overseas lenders or strong Indian credits," V K Chopra, Chairman & MD of the bank, said.
