Federal Bank To Tread M & A Path To Balance-Sheet Growth

Federal Bank will actively pursue the mergers and acquisition (M&A) route to attain the critical balance-sheet size in 2004-05. It is also aiming at a 16 per cent capital adequacy ratio (CAR) to make itself attractive for a merger.
