Forex reserves down

India’s foreign exchange reserves fell by $177 million to $294 billion for the week ended February 3, 2012, after rising marginally for the previous two consecutive weeks.
According to the Reserve Bank of India, the reserves fell on account of revaluation in foreign currency assets. Foreign currency assets dipped by $302 million to $260 billion.
