Forex reserves up $2.8bn at $275.56bn

Foreign exchange reserves increased $2.837 billion to $275.559 billion for the week ended December 28, according to data relased by Reserve Bank of India on Friday.

Foreign currency assets increased $2.833 billion to $266.767 billion. Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $8.357 billion and $3 million, respectively.

Reserve Position in the IMF was up $4 million at $432 million.
