Forex reserves up $3bn at $222bn

Foreign exchange reserves increased $3.087 billion to $222.043 billion for the week ended July 20, according to data released by the RBI today.

Foreign currency assets were up $3.087 billion at $214.790 billion. Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $6.787 billion and $1 million, respectively.

The Reserve Position in the IMF was unchanged at $465 million.
