J&K Bank Q2 net up 53%

Jammu & Kashmir Bank today reported a 53% increase in net profit at Rs 84.02 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006 as against Rs 54.97 crore in Q2FY06.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased  to Rs 502.46 crore from Rs 443.50 crore in Q2FY06.
