• Government security prices fell across the board on profit booking.
• Prices of long-term prices fell by 20-30 paise, while those of medium-term papers declined by 5-10 paise.
• The yield on the ten-year benchmark paper closed higher at 5.15 per cent.
• Call money rates hovered around 4.5 per cent.
• Repo subscriptions stood at Rs 33,000 crore.

Sentiment: Dull

• The rupee opened at 45.58/59 per dollar but went up to a high of 45.6050 before closing at 45. 59/60.
• Premiums on forward dollars remained flat. The annualised premiums on six-month and one-year dollars closed at par and 0.2 per cent respectively.
