Mscb Bounces Back After Five-Year Ditch, Nets Rs 26.71 Crore

The Maharashtra State Co-operative (MSC) Bank has come out of the woods after five years. After wiping out Rs 245 crore of losses, accumulated since 1997, the bank has posted a net profit of Rs 26.71 crore in the year ended March 31, 2003.

The liquidation of 18 sugar factories in the state has taken its toll on the bank
