Oriental Bank Q1 net up 48%

Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) today reported a 48% increase in net profit at Rs 139.18 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 94.02 crore in Q1FY07.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 1,680.34 crore from Rs 1,304.02 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
