PNB opens 2 branches in Lucknow

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has started a vast credit expansion programme for all categories of customers to increase its market share under the retail segment.

To ensure speedy delivery of the bank's retail lending products to customers, the bank has set up two exclusive retail finance branches in Lucknow.

Talking to Business Standard, Keshav Aggarwal, general manager, PNB (UP East zone), said: "Retail is coming up in a big way. In UP, the growth rate for retail is around 40 per cent while that of the agriculture sector is 35-40 per cent. There is still a gap in UP for big industries to invest but as far as small and medium industries are concerned, they are coming up and we are welcoming them with open arms."

During the PNB Festival Bonanza (September 23-December 31), concessions will be granted to customers under the various retail lending schemes for housing loans, education loans , car loans , personal loans to government, mortgage, traders loan, medical loans, etc.
