A release from the Department of non-banking supervision, Chandigarh circle, said Moga Deposits and Advances Limited and Diamond Fincap Limited, are prohibited from accepting deposits in any form with immediate affect.
The apex bank also said companies continue to be under obligation to repay public deposits as per terms and conditions of contract of deposits.
The companies are also prohibited from alienating property and assets without permission, the release said.
