SBI plans 300 ATMs in MP, Chhattisgarh

| The Bhopal circle of the State Bank of India (SBI), which includes Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, plans to set up over 300 automated teller machines (ATMs) in the semi-urban areas. |
| At present, the bank has 125 networked ATMs in these two states. The bank has registered a Rs 14,770 crore deposit and made Rs 6,613 crore advances till November 2003. |
| Of the total advances by all scheduled commercial banks in the two states, the SBI accounts for 30.07 per cent and 26.33 per cent in deposits. |
