The interest rates for the maturity of one year to 399 days and 401 days to less than 5 years increased to 9.75 per cent from 9.25 per cent and for senior citizens and others the interest rate increased to 10.25 from 9.50 per cent.
For TMB 400 days deposits scheme, the rate of interest has been increased to 10 per cent from 9.50 per cent for others and senior citizens the rates have increased to 10.25 per cent from from 9.75 per cent.
Under TMB double deposit scheme the principal amount will get doubled in 6 years, 10 months and 8 days for senior citizens and in 7 years ansd 7 days for others.
