ACC Appointment

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Asif Ibrahim, IPS (MP:77) (Retd.), former Director, Intelligence Bureau as 'Special Envoy for Counter Terrorism and Extremism' in National Security Council Secretariat, in the rank of Secretary to the Government of India for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
