Boeing P-8i Aircraft
The contract for procurement of eight P-8I Long Range Maritime Reconnaissance Anti-Submarine Warfare (LRMRASW) aircraft worth 2.137 Billion US Dollars was signed on 1st January 2009. All eight aircrafts have been delivered. This information was given by Minister of Defence Shri Manohar Parrikar in a written reply to Adv. M Udhayakumar in Lok Sabha today.
