Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir Appointed Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 100 of the Constitution of Jammu & Kashmir, the President is pleased to appoint Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, senior most Judge of the Jammu & Kashmir High Court to perform the duties of the Office of the Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court with effect from 05th January, 2015, consequent upon the retirement of Justice Mahesh Mittal Kumar, Chief Justice of the Jammu & Kashmir High Court.
