The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee in his message on the eve of Milad-un-Nabi has said: -

On the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, I convey greetings and good wishes to all my fellow countrymen in India and abroad.

May the message of compassion, tolerance and service to humanity preached and practiced by the Holy Prophet inspire and guide each one of us to move forward on the path of love and universal brotherhood".
