The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Ministry of Finance has informed that no such decision has been taken. DIPAM has further informed that the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has given in principle approval" for considering some Central Public Sector Enterprises for strategic disinvestment.
This information was given by Minister of State in the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Shri Babul Supriyo in reply to a written question in the Lok Sabha today.
