No differences with Powell: US administration

The Obama Administration on Monday refuted reports that US Ambassador to India Nancy Powell had resigned because of differences with it, and instead said she was ending a distinguished 37-year career.

"Not any truth to your question about differences - she is retiring after 37 years of service," State Department Deputy Spokesperson Marie Harf said when asked about reports that Powell has resigned due to differences with the US government.
