Amway idea contest held

Direct selling company Amway India Enterprises, organised Xl-ENT Idea Contest among management schools in Kolkata. The key objective of the contest is to nurture fresh talent and to provide the management students a unique opportunity to have first hand knowledge on brand promotion.
Management students from reputed institutes presented their brand visibility campaign on XL – the energy drink and bar of Amway India before a panel of judges comprising Diptarag Bhattacharjee, Vice President-East, Amway India Enterprises Pvt Ltd, Nabendu Bhattacharya, Regional Manager-East, LG Electronics and Sujoy Chakraborty, Regional Manager, Reliance BIG TV.
The contestants have been judged on the basis of methodology, quality of data collection, Data representation, Data Analysis and innovation. Commenting on the initiative, Diptarag Bhattacharjee, of Amway said, “Over 70 management students from various reputed management institutes including IISWBM, Army Institute Of Management, International Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, International Institute of Management Science, National Institute of Management Kolkata, National Institute of Personnel Management, Pailan College of Management & Technology, Techno B School, TechnoIndia Group, ICFAI Business School, Heritage Institute of Technology, Management & Education, IISWBM, IIAS Business School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, Bengal Institute of Technology & Management Kolkata , Institute of Research & Business Management, Kolkata, Institute of Engineering & Management Kolkata, CP International School of Business and International School of Business & Media participated in the preliminary round of contest”.
The second round of XL-ENT IDEA CONTEST comprises a brand visibility campaign whereby the shortlisted 24 candidates got an opportunity to design a unique brand visibility and promotion campaign to promote XL - The Energy Drink and Energy Bar Brand in Kolkata. Amway was confident of Rs 1000 crore sales this year, said Diptarag Bhattacharjee thanks to products such as XL. Amway XL Energy Drink could be a Rs 25 crore brand in one year, he claimed.
