Army B-school meet in Feb

In order to blend fun into regular learning of managerial skills, Army Institute of Management of Kolkata (AIMK), is organising its annual B-school management festival "� Inferno 2006-07 "� to boost young managers in marketing, finance, systems and HR.

To be held on February 8 and 9, the institute expects attendance of over 1,500 people with participation of above 200 from institutes like IIMC, IISWBM, IIT-KGP, XLRI, ICFAI, AIMT, Globsyn, among others.

"CNBC would sponsor our quiz competition, and BIG FM would give air time to our events. We are also trying to arrange sponsorships for our other events," said Avinash Dubey of the organising committee of Inferno 2006-07.

Events include Ad-Mad Show "� participants would have to work on humourous advertisement for any brand in 15 minutes for both radio and television, Finance Doctor "� preparing portfolio solutions for companies. The festival would also host popular inter-school debate and quiz and the prize money would vary between Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000, depending on the event.

Inferno would also be host to off-campus or online events, that would be held between January 18 and January 30.
