Diploma in commodities

Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX), in association with Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research has developed various training programmes in commodities for graduates / post graduates or diploma holders in any discipline. The courses offered will be"� a three-month diploma in commodities market (DICM); a distance learning programme in MCX certified commodity professional (MCCP) and a four-hour crash course in market operations. Industry or corporate professionals can also attend the courses.

Analysing communication

IIM Indore will hold a seminar on 'Business analysis of telecom and communication services'. The course will provide insights in to the trends of telecom and communication business and will lay emphasis on the environmental and business dynamics of the same with reference to today's scenario.
Players: Junior-mid level managers with 2-3 years experience or managers at any level.

Family business course

ISB Hyderabad will hold a programme in 'Perpetuating family enterprise'. The programme will explore best practices tried and tested over 20 years in dealing with complex issues that come into play while balancing business and family needs.

Health management

IIM Calcutta will conduct a week long training programme on 'Improving managerial effectiveness in community and sexual health'. The objective of the training programme is to enhance and strengthen the management skills of programme managers, programme planners, co-ordinators and senior functionaries working in the area of community and sexual health and HIV/AIDS.
