IMS's training centre in Mysore

Mumbai-based career counselling and test preparation brand, IMS Learning Resources Pvt Ltd has extended its wings to Mysore, a major academic centre of Karnataka.

The Mysore Centre, launched on December 9, will offer a portfolio of products ranging from test-preparation to career counseling to educational consulting to career-focussed publications.

"So far 200-250 students were coming from Mysore to attend our Bangalore centre-run courses. Now, they can have classroom training CAT, CSB (Communications skills building) and GRE in their home town alone, while for GMAT. TOEFL, IELTS training will be offered via correspondence," assistant general manager SPN Prasad Rao told Business Standard.

"The new centre in Mysore is a part of IMS' plans of reaching students in different corners of India and motivating them to seek career options in India or abroad. We are proud to be a part of Mysore's students' community where we see great potential," Mysore Centre Head G Gopinath added.

In its 28 years, IMS has guided over three lakh students to their career goals in the country.
