ISB launches management programme for family businesses
The programme is said to be on par with Masters in Management programme offered at premier global B-schools

The Indian School of Business (ISB) launched a management programme for family business (MFAB). The programme was launched by Adi Godrej and Sunil Kant Munjal. MFAB is designed to groom the younger generation of family-owned businesses for leadership. The programme is said to be on par with the Masters in Management programme offered at premier global business schools.
Ajit Rangnekar, Dean, ISB, said: "There is a need for a top-notch global programme for grooming the future leaders of family-owned businesses."
"MFAB aims to fill this gap by providing a structured learning platform that will help young family business scions navigate and grow their businesses in a hyper-competitive and globalised business environment," he said.
MFAB's curriculum has been contextualised to the needs of the segment. It focuses on enhancing analytical and functional skills, strengthen strategy and leadership as well as bring to the fore solutions to unique family business related challenges. It will give them international exposure with industry interventions. It's a part-time course which can be finished over a period of 15 months. The applicants are required to have a Bachelors Degree or an equivalent qualification such as chartered accountant. Applicants will be required to appear for the Business Aptitude Test (BAT), and appear for a personal interview.
