KIIT University to host annual convention

City-based KIIT University will host the 38th national annual convention of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) on December 19-21. The convention is expected to attract more than four thousand delegates including academicians, professionals, statesmen and bureaucrats from across the country.

Addressing the media, Achyuta Samanta, founder, KIIT Group of Institutions said, “This is for the second time that we are organising the ISTE annual convention and KIIT is the only institution in eastern India to have organised such a convention. Apart from thousands of domestic participants, 61 foreign delegates have confirmed their participation for the convention.”

“The ISTE convention will help improve the quality of technical education in Orissa,” said NR Shetty, president, ISTE.
