Asian markets open weak

The Asian markets have opened lower this morning. The Hang Seng is quoting at 19,301, weaker by 366 points or 1.8% and Nikkei is at 9,526, down 231 points or 2.3%.

Seoul Composite is at 1,558, weaker by 46 points or 2.8%, Taiwan Weighted is at 7,156, lower by 165 points or 2.2% and Straits Times is at 2,688, down 34 points or 1.2%.
