Cairn India rises 2 per cent

The Cairn India scrip closed 2.02 per cent up at Rs 265.2 on start of oil production from the Rajasthan block. Cairn on Saturday started crude oil production from Mangala field.

The stock opened at Rs 265.2 and made an intraday high of Rs 272.5 and a low of Rs 260. Total traded volume surged to 26 lakh shares.
