Cardamom continues to slide on sluggish demand
Third day slide on weak fundamentals

Cardamom prices fell for the third straight day by losing Rs 23.60 to Rs 1,116.90 per kg in futures trade today on sustained selling by speculators on sluggish spot market demand against adequate stocks position.
At the MCX, cardamom for delivery in far-month September fell by Rs 23.60, or 2.07%, to Rs 1,116.90 per kg in business turnover of 38 lots.
The August contract lost Rs 11.80, or 1.01%, to Rs 1,152.50 per kg in 319 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in cardamom futures following sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position.
