Cardamom down 1.5% on profit-booking
Adequate stocks influence prices

Cardamom shed Rs 14.30 to Rs 922 per kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits amid low spot demand.
The trading sentiment remained weak due to the adequate stocks availability in the physical market due to higher supply from producing belts, marketmen said.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in September fell by Rs 14.30, or 1.52%, to Rs 922 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,038 lots.
October cardamom declined by Rs 11.20, or 1.08%, to Rs 1,024 per kg, with a business volume of 169 lots.
