Copra Rajapur strengthens on better demand

Copra Rajapur prices rose further at the spices market here today on sustained demand from traders and stockists amidst restricted arrivals.

Copra edible also firmed up owing to fresh buying from retailers.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai hardened by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,700 from overnight closing level of Rs 6,600 and copra edible Mumbai gained by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 5,650, as against Rs 5,600 yesterday. 

Other spices closed at overnight levels in the absence of necessary buying activity.
