Shares of Cox & Kings were up over 2% at Rs 303 after the company said it has alloted warrants to promoters at a premium to Tuesday's close of Rs 296.95 per share.
The Finance Committee of Directors at its meeting held on January 06, 2015, has issued and allotted 72,50,000 Warrants (Warrants) to Standford Trading Private Limited, a promoter group entity, entitling for subscription of equivalent number of equity shares of Rs. 5/- each at a price of Rs. 309.82/- (Rupees Three Hundred Nine and Eighty Two Paisa only) per Warrant including premium of Rs. 304.82/- (Rupees Three Hundred Four and Eighty Two paisa only) per Warrant, the company said in a release.
The share opened at Rs 297 and touched a high of Rs 308. At 11AM, over 194,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
