D B Realty surges on heavy volumes

At 1025 hours, a combined 3.7 million shares representing 1.5% of total equity of D B Realty have already changed hands against an average around 2 million shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on BSE and NSE.
Shares in the Mumbai-based real estate company has opened at Rs 87 and touched a low of Rs 84.65 on the BSE. The S&P BSE Realty index was down 1%, while the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex by 0.25%.
Ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala held 2.5 million or 1.03% stake in D B Realty as of March 31, 2014, the shareholding pattern data shows.
