Dow gains 59pts; ADRs shine

The Wall Street ended in positive zone on Monday. The Dow Jones industrial average index gained 59 points at 8,175. The Nasdaq moved up 15 points to 1,505.

The Indian ADRs, too, ended on a shining note. Sterlite zoomed nearly 10% to $5.36. Infosys, Wipro, Patni Computers, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors, Dr.Reddy's and Tata Communications gained 1-4% each. MTNL, however, slipped 1%.
