Educomp up 16% after filing police complaint

The Educomp Solutions (Educomp) scrip spurted 16.15 per cent to Rs 1,782.8 after the company filed a complaint with the additional commissioner of police, Economic Offences Wing, Crime Branch, New Delhi, against persistent malicious emails that are being circulated since the last few days.

The stock tanked 22 per cent on Wednesday even though the company sent the bourses a detailed clarification saying it had not fudged its accounts. The scrip hit an intra-day high of Rs 1,815 and a low of Rs 1,534.9.
