Funds-Flush Bourses Scheduled For A Firm Opening

Former deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of India, SS Tarapore yesterday said that RBI nominee directors on the boards of public sector banks should be withdrawn and that appointments of chairmen and outside directors should be made by an independent appointments board. He was speaking at a programme on "corporate governance in banking and finance" organised by the Administrative Staff College of India here yesterday.
