Gains intact; Sensex up 155pts

The Sensex is now up 155 points at 11,031.

Ranbaxy and HDFC have gained around 4% each at Rs 393 and Rs 1,233, respectively.

HDFC Bank has advanced nearly 3% to Rs 802. Tata Motors and Reliance Communications are up over 2.5% each at Rs 779 and Rs 274, respectively.

Maruti, Infosys, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel have gained around 2% each at Rs 797, Rs 1,699, Rs 559 and Rs 401, respectively.

Out of 2,465 stocks traded, 1,675 have advanced, 725 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
