Gdr Index Remains Unchanged

The global depository receipt of Ranbaxy Laboratories rose by 1.23 per cent to $11.51 during early trades on Monday, November 25.
Despite this, the Skindia GDR Index, which represents the global depository receipts and American depositary receipts of 15 actively traded companies, remained more or less unchanged at 487.55 at 11:30 AM GMT.
Ranbaxy has a weightage of more than 6 per cent in the index.

The index premium marginally decreased 1.15 per cent to 12.58 per cent. Among Indian global depository receipts, there were 12 gainers, 2 losers and 31 remained unchanged.
Prominent gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra, which was up 5.50 per cent, SAIL (up 4.44 per cent) and Tata Tea (up by 3.91 per cent).
The losers were Indian Hotels (down by 3.15 per cent) and IPCL (down by 0.60 per cent). The index rose sharply by 2.65 per cent to 485.75 on November 22 compared with the preceding day
