Gur ends quiet, Raskat prices fall in Muzuffarnagar

Jaggery prices moved in a tight range on alternate small bouts of buying and selling before ending at last levels at the wholesale market in the national capital.
On the other hand, gur raskat prices declined by Rs 50 in Muzaffarnagar gur market owing to poor offtake by alcohol industries, while prices in Muradnagar were steady.
Market analysts said slackness in demand from alcohol-making industries mainly pulled down the prices of gur raskat in Muzaffarnager.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur raskat prices slipped by Rs 50 to settle at Rs 2,200-2,250 per quintal.

Chakku Rs 2,750-2,850, pedi Rs 2,900-3,000, Dhayya Rs 3,100-3,200, and Shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,200-2,250, chakku Rs 2,325-2,500 and Khurpa N.T
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,650-2,700 and Dhaya Rs NA
