IPCL, Cipla, MTNL to announce earnings today

The Sensex is likely to open on a weak note following the late sell-off yesterday. On the downside, the index has a near support of 11,840, and a far-off support of 11,730-11,670 levels. Any upmove is likely to face stiff resistance around the 11,990-12,030 levels.

Following companies are scheduled to announce their earnings today and hence the stocks could be in action - Aban Loyd, DCM Shriram Consolidated, Himachal Futuristic, MTNL, Strides Arcolab, VisualSoft, ABB, Cipla, Ballarpur Industries, IPCL, Mahindra Gesco, Sintex and Wockhardt.
