IVRCL gains on fresh orders worth Rs 351 crore

Shares of IVRCL were up over 5% at Rs 9.85 on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company announced that its irrigation and water divisions have received orders worth Rs 350.96 crore.

The Irrigation Division has received orders worth Rs 324.67 crore from Cauvery Neeravari Nigama Ltd, Karnataka which includes providing drinking water to 83 tanks of Magadi Taluk, Tumkur District.

The Water Division has received orders worth Rs 26.29 crore from Karnataka Urban Water Supply & Drainage Board.

The stock opened at Rs 9.45 and touched a high of Rs 10.17. At 2:35pm, over 5.2 million shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
