Jeera: Bullish on overseas demand
COMMODITY SPIKES

Meanwhile, the arrival has dipped from the earlier 20,000-22,000 bags (each of 55 kg) to 15,000-17,000 bags in Unjha, fuelling prices. The past week saw the near-month jeara contract jumping by over Rs 1,000 a quintal.
Technically, the market could surpass the Rs 10,500 a quintal mark, according to analysts, but they add that a correction too can come about next week. Pakistan has emerged as the main importing nation of India's jeera.
The domestic demand too is reported to be good as offtake from delivery centres is more than the arrival.
