JP Associates down 7%; Satyam, Infosys gain 1%

The NSE Nifty is down 81 points at 4,266.

Jaiprakash Associates has slumped 7.5% to Rs 154. Tata Steel and Maruti have plunged over 5% each to Rs 738 and Rs 691, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco have shed 4.7% each at Rs 2,443 and Rs 154, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Reliance Infrastructure and Reliance have dropped 4.5% each to Rs 518, Rs 918 and Rs 2,003, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has tumbled 3.7% to Rs 554, and BHEL has slipped 3.5% to Rs 1,357.

DLF, SBI and ACC have declined 2.7% each to Rs 444, Rs 1,214 and Rs 609, respectively.

 

Satyam, HDFC and Infosys have advanced over 1% each to Rs 461, Rs 2,210 and Rs 1,845, respectively.
