Kingfisher Airlines tanks 9%

Share of Kingfisher Airlines has tanked almost 9% at Rs 17.15 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in morning trades. As many as a combined 1.08 million shares have already changed hands so far, against an average 4.6 million shares that were traded daily on both the exchanges.

According to media reports, around 200 engineers belongs to both management and non- management cadre went on strike work on Saturday protesting non-payment of salaries despite the airline's earlier claim that all the staff had been paid.
