Low density polymer rises as demand picks up

In restricted activity, low density (LD) polymer prices rose by Re 1 per kg on the wholesale plastic market today on increased demand from bag makers.
High density (HD) and Polypropylene (PP) polymers, however, held steady in thin trade.
Increased demand from plastic bag makers helped LD polymer to trade higher, traders said.
LD No 40 and LD No 400 polymers were up by Re one each to Rs 94.50 and Rs 96 per kg, respectively.
