Shares of Lupin were trading higher at Rs 1,875 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, in an otherwise weak market, after the company announced that its overseas subsidiary Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., has launched first ever generic Duloxetine DR (delayed-release) capsule in 40mg dosage strength.
Following the launch of 40mg dosage strength, Lupin has become the only generic producer to offer Duloxetine capsules in dosage strengths of 20mg, 30mg and 60mg, the company said in a release to the exchange.
The stock opened at Rs 1,873 and touched a high of Rs 1,893. At 11:35AM, over 637,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
