M&M firm as it forays into aerospace biz

The stock soared to a high of Rs 1,054 and finally settled at Rs 1,046, up  3% from its previous close. The counter clocked volumes of  152,172 shares as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of  130,005 shares on the BSE. _________________________________________________________

Mahindra & Mahindra has advanced as it has enterred into the aerospace business by acquiring majority stakes in two-Australian companies, Aerostaff Australia and Gippsland Aeronautics.

The stock opened at Rs 1,025 and touched a high of Rs 1,036. The scrip is now trading at Rs 1,026, up 1% from its previous close. The counter has clocked volumes of 52,206 shares as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 130,005 shares on the BSE.
