Maize rises in thin trade

In thin trading, maize prices rose by Rs 10 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today on pick-up in demand against restricted arrivals from the producing region.
Traders said pick-up in demand against tight supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in maize prices.
In the national capital, maize gained Rs 10 to Rs 1,200-1,210 per quintal.
